Nestled on Bank Place in the heart of Little Collins Street’s oldest high-rise building, Marrakech Bar was established in 2007, originally trading Friday & Saturdays as a late-night dance venue with Moroccan décor, showcasing the latest in house music. In 2011 the venue broadened its reach to cater to the ever-growing demand for shisha and relaxing drinks, and so commenced trading daily as a shisha and cocktail lounge, whilst maintaining late night trading on Friday and Saturday evenings,
hosting the renown ‘Trill Fridays’ and ‘Marrakech Saturdays’, specialising in the best in R&B.
Marrakech has undergone extensive renovations over the past 14+ years, the latest being in 2020 where our heavily wooden-themed furniture was replaced by a more relaxed and comfortable fabric centric lounge feel.
Whilst Covid 19 (we’d like to think it’s more a 20/21 kind of deal) has obviously had its drawbacks; we are here to stay and welcome you to our venue to experience for yourself the most premium shisha, flavourful cocktails and all-round music and service that Melbourne has to offer.
Fully licensed Premises
Marrakech is fully licenced premises stocked with all your favourite spirits, liquors and even less alcoholic options that you might fancy. Which means we can make virtually any drink you desire!
Our full kitchen is open until 9pm every night of the week, with our bar menu being open at all
times!
